Preferred Vascular Group’s Cleveland East Vascular Care office in Beachwood, OH was proud to sponsor the Health & Wellness Summit hosted by the Beachwood Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the Beachwood Community Center. The free community event brought together health systems, wellness providers, and local resources in one setting, and we were glad to take part alongside Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Akron Children’s Hospital, and MetroHealth.

Thank you to the Beachwood Chamber of Commerce for organizing the summit, and to everyone who stopped by our table to talk about vascular health.

Vascular Health Education at Our Table

Our Cleveland East team hosted a vendor table throughout the morning, sharing education and information on vascular health. Many vascular conditions, such as peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and venous disease, develop gradually. Symptoms like leg pain when walking, cramping, swelling, or bulging veins are easy to dismiss. Our team talked with attendees about recognizing those early signs and knowing when it makes sense to see a vascular specialist.

Keynote by Dr. Maharshi Rajdev

Maharshi Rajdev, MD, Medical Director of PVG’s Akron Vascular Care office in Munroe Falls, was one of the summit’s featured keynote speakers. Dr. Rajdev spoke about vascular health, why it matters to recognize and address vascular conditions early, and how PVG supports Northeast Ohio communities with specialized care in a comfortable outpatient setting.

Dr. Rajdev is a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist and Northeast Ohio’s highest-volume physician for musculoskeletal embolization procedures, including genicular artery embolization (GAE) for knee osteoarthritis and Shoulder TAME for chronic shoulder pain. His training includes a surgical internship at the Mayo Clinic, serving as Chief Resident at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals, and a fellowship at the University of Virginia, and he previously served on the faculty at the Cleveland Clinic.

“So many people live with leg pain, swelling, or chronic joint pain because they assume surgery is their only option, or that nothing can be done,” said Dr. Rajdev. “Events like this summit allow us to meet people right in their own community, answer their questions, and show them that today there are minimally invasive, outpatient treatments that can help them get back to doing what they love.”

Kelly Moore, RN, Access Coordinator at our Cleveland East Vascular Care office, represented PVG on the summit’s panel discussion with local first responders. Drawing on her years as an emergency room nurse, Kelly shared her front-line perspective on patient care, the importance of timely access to medical services, and the role healthcare professionals play in supporting their communities. At PVG, she works closely with patients and referring providers to coordinate dialysis access care, helping patients navigate the process and connect with the care they need.

The summit also hosted an American Red Cross Blood Drive as part of the Red Cross’s October drive. Thank you to everyone who donated.
