Dr. Aws Aljanabi is a distinguished Board Certified Nephrologist and a fellowship-trained Interventional Nephrologist, holding membership in the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN).
He began his medical journey with an internal medicine residency in New York, followed by a nephrology fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Demonstrating exceptional expertise, Dr. Aljanabi was subsequently chosen for the Interventional Nephrology fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Upon completing this fellowship, Dr. Aljanabi continued his professional development at the University of Michigan, serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Nephrology. In November 2023, he joined Preferred Vascular Group, bringing with him an extensive background in performing advanced procedures and in educating fellow physicians. His profound knowledge in the management and maintenance of vascular access for kidney dialysis patients positions him at the forefront of his field.
