Dr. Hakmei is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Society of Diagnostic & Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN).
Dr. Hakmei completed his internal medicine training at Chicago’s Cook County Hospital and his Nephrology training at the Medical University of South Carolina. After completing his medical training in 2016, Dr. Hakmei spent over 6 years working at the prestigious and internationally recognized “Dialysis Access Institute (DAI)” in Orangeburg S.C.. At DAI, Dr. Hakmei not only provided state-of-the-art interventional work for ESRD patients but also trained dozens of physicians from all over world on the techniques.
Dr. Hakmei joined Preferred Vascular Group in 2024, adding his knowledge, skill and experience to the outstanding PVG medical team.
